Virat Kohli is well known in the Indian cricket team. The skill of a player like him in playing cricket is really appreciated. He is currently a fancy batsman and captain of the Indian team. He has been the captain of the Indian team since 2014. He is still the captain of the Indian cricket team after the retirement of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2017.

Childhood Life:

Virat Kohli was born on November 5, 1988 in a Delhi-based Hindu-Punjabi family. His nickname was Chiku. His father's name was Prem Kohli, who was a lawyer in the profession. His mother's name was Saroj Kohli who was a housewife. Virat Kohli had three siblings, he had an elder brother and an elder sister named Vikas Kohli and Bhavna Kohli.

Education Life:

He initially studied at the large Bharati Public School and later in the twelfth grade at West Bihar School and Severn Convent Secondary School. It is known that he was very talented in his studies.

Marital Life:

He has been involved with Bollywood celebrity actress Anushka Sharma since 2013. They married on December 11, 2017, 4 years later.

Cricket Life:

From the age of just three, he became interested in playing cricket. As he grew up, this interest became his goal. His father always helped him to accomplish his goals and showed interest. He participated in West Delhi Cricket Academy in 1998 at the age of only 10 years. His father Prem Kohli's great talent in cricket played at an early age. He wasted no time in a professional cricket club under Prince Sharma. In addition to training in this club, he also played cricket at Sumit Dogar Academy in Bashundhara Enclave. His extraordinary cricketing talent was admirable. 

To further improve his cricketing training, his father admitted him to the Seventh Convent in West Bihar. Then they came to Gurgaon with the whole family. Then, when he was only 19, his father became ill and his father died on December 18, 2006, after undergoing a month of treatment. After his father's death, he was grieved. His father was the inspiration of his life, so he spent some time to cope with his father's death.

Working Life:

His career in cricket began in 2002. By October this year, he played for Delhi's Under-15 team at the first Poly Umriga Trophy. He had the most runs in the game. Then again in 2004, Pauli made 390 runs for the Under-17 side in the Umriga Trophy, this time he was the team's captain. He was selected for the Merchant Trophy that same year and scored the highest score with two centuries. In 2006, he was selected to play for India's Under-19 team. 

He was then selected to play for the Indian team for the ICC Champions Trophy by September 2008. His lackluster performance in this game is commendable. The following month, he played for the Indian board against Australia and scored 105 against Australia. He was selected for the ODI series against England the following month, but was dropped because Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag were replaced. The Emerging Players Tournament was selected in the four-team tournament in the 27th and scored the highest score. This year, he replaced Yuvraj Singh in the ICC Champion Trophy and was unbeaten on 5 runs. He won the Man of the Match award for playing this match. 

Instead of Tendulkar in the one-day tournament held in Bangladesh in 2010, he had the opportunity to play five series, where he saw the highest number of runs at the end of the series. This year, he was named captain of the Indian cricket team along with Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe. In this series, he caught the eye of the half century. India has been successful in any World Cup game since 1983 so far, Kohli has shown his ability by participating in almost all of them. 

He became Man of the Match in the one-day international series played in the 2011 West Indies and won the game in India. He was later named captain of the Indian team for the 2012 Asia Cup. This time he showed his outstanding performance and set the record as the highest run collector in the history of the Asia Cup. He participated in the 2013 ICC Champion Trophy where India won. India won the ICC tournament twice in succession. India won the match against Pakistan under Dhoni's captaincy in the 2014 ICC World T20 series, and Virat Kohli won the Man of the Tournament title by scoring the most runs at the end of the series. 

He won the Man of the Tournament title in the ICC World T20 series for both 2016 and 2017, noting that he was named the ODI captain of the world after his great game in 2016. 

His skill was also evident in the 2019 Cricket World Cup, even though the Indian team did not win the World Cup, their team performance was worth watching.

Indian Premier League:

He started his first Indian Premier League game with the Royal Challenger Bengaluru team in 2008. In the first season of various 2008 seasons, he scored 165 runs in 12 innings. Ditiya scored a total of 246 runs on the season. During the 2011 Indian Premier League, he was captain of the team and captained in several matches. He was the second highest run scorer this season. Chris Gayle was in first place. He has been the captain of the Royal Challenger Bengaluru team since 2013.
